Team Reclaim at the Wokingham Lions Swimathon

This September, The Jessica Project is taking on the Wokingham Lions Club Annual Swimathon as Team Reclaim, and the name means so much to us.

At The Jessica Project, we never believe a survivor’s experience is all they are.

In fact, with the right support, compassion and space to heal, those experiences can become part of the journey towards reclaiming confidence, reclaiming identity, reclaiming joy and reclaiming power.

Our work is about more than surviving.

It is about helping survivors rise, rediscover themselves and become the strongest, most empowered version of who they are. This is exactly why we name our empowering survivor programmes the way we do.

Through our innovative, survivor-led approaches to healing and recovery, we create spaces for education, connection, advocacy, confidence-building and rediscovery; always with kindness and no judgement.

That is why we are Team Reclaim.

On 20 September, we’ll be swimming to raise vital funds so we can continue providing this support to survivors.
